Ikran Ali - President

Ikran has been a dedicated volunteer within the Charlotte community since 2010, actively involved in various local masjids and community-oriented initiatives.  Education-wise, Ikran holds a Master's in Cybersecurity and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, complemented by certifications.   She has actively participated as a guest speaker at various events, presenting locally and  internationally in Cairo. Her profile reflects a multifaceted individual deeply committed to community service, technological innovation, and the advancement of cybersecurity practices.

Khizra Ali - Vice President

Khizra is an energetic and creative professional who knows exactly how to get things done! With a background as a teacher, she brings a fun, hands-on approach to everything she does, along with experience building strong community partnerships as a Media Manager. As a UNCC graduate with a knack for project management, she mixes smart, strategic thinking with a passion for helping organizations grow. Whether she's leading in the classroom or collaborating in the boardroom, Khizra is a dedicated, adaptable team player.

Mardhiyah Nassiruddin - Treasurer

Mardhiyah is a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in accounting and finance, complemented by a deep commitment to community service. Her career has centered around financial analysis and client management, where she has consistently demonstrated precision, strategic insight, and leadership. Beyond her professional achievements, Mardhiyah has spent over a decade volunteering with faith-based and humanitarian organizations, teaching children, organizing educational programs, and supporting causes such as housing, food security, and women's welfare—reflecting her enduring dedication to social impact and community development.

Huma Jameel - Board of Directors

Huma's dedication to community service is vividly exemplified through her impactful non-profit engagements at the Islamic Society of Greater Charlotte (ISGC) and Muslim Community Center (MCC). For several years, she has passionately volunteered her time and expertise to uplift and support these local Mosques. These non-profit endeavors highlight Huma's holistic approach, demonstrating her sincere desire to make a difference beyond her professional achievements. Her tireless efforts in supporting the local Mosques reflect a deep-seated commitment to community empowerment and welfare, blending her expertise with genuine care for the betterment of others.


Huma is also an accomplished healthcare recruiter with a rich background spanning over two decades, demonstrating an exceptional track record in sourcing and acquiring top talent within the healthcare sector. Her current role at PruittHealth, a position she has held for over almost 2 years, highlights her commitment to talent acquisition within the healthcare industry. 


Previously, at Visiting Angels, Huma served as a Recruiter for over three years, showcasing her prowess in healthcare staffing, sourcing, and talent acquisition within Charlotte, North Carolina area.


Her career journey began as an Office Coordinator at the Institute for Social Policy & Understanding, where she developed foundational, networking, and administrative skills, and developed a love for the non-profit world.
